When I visited the islands I was blown away. I’ve seen a lot of beaches and beautiful landscapes through my travels around Asia and Australia, but so far nothing compared to the amazing scenery of the Whitsunday Islands.
74 islands make up the Whitsundays between the northeast coast of Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef. So what makes the Whitsunday Islands just so special?
Well, just take a look at the video below to see for yourself.
The best way to visit the Whitsundays is by a tour. I went with my friend Anita and we joined the boat tour with Ocean Rafting. There are several options for tours including one day-three days. We chose to do the one-day tour called ‘Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet’. It involved snorkeling part of the Great Barrier Reef, a guided tour through the Whitsunday Island national park including Hill Inlet lookout and finally having our own free time to relax on the incredible Whitehaven beach.
There are loads of tour companies that off great packages. If you’d like to find out more about the tour I was on you can click the following link: https://oceanrafting.com.au/
Here are some more pictures from the tour!
