Why You Need To Add Whitsundays To Your Travel Bucket List

I’ve seen a fair share of beaches and beautiful landscapes through travels around Asia and Australia, but nothing compared to the amazing scenery of the Whitsunday Islands. I was completely blown away!

Etihad: Choose Well

74 islands make up the Whitsundays between the northeast coast of Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef. But, do you want to know what exactly makes the Whitsunday Islands just so special?

Well, just take a look at the video below to see for yourself.

The best way to visit the Whitsundays is with a tour. I went with my friend Anita and we joined the boat tour with Ocean Rafting. There are several options for tours including one day-three days. We chose to do the one-day tour called ‘Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet’.

The Tour Included:

  • Snorkelling part of the Great Barrier Reef.
  • A guided tour through the Whitsunday Island national park including Hill Inlet Lookout.
  • Free-time to relax on the incredible Whitehaven beach.

There are loads of tour companies that off great packages. And if you’d like to find out more about the tour I was on you can click the following link: https://oceanrafting.com.au/

Here are some more pictures from the tour!

And if you’re a little fact-nerd like me, here’s some information you might like 🤓
